General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The GDPR is Europe’s privacy regulation. It gives you control over the data that organisations have about you and how they market to you.

At Vraj & Co., we take privacy very seriously and have to make very few changes to comply with the GDPR. This page outlines our approaches, and we welcome your feedback at info@vraj.co.nz.

We don’t currently operate our business in the EU but are outlining our practices here for total transparency. We will not rent, sell or share your email address with any third party, and we never have. However, we use third party analytics software from Google and Facebook. In some cases, we may place a cookie on your side, this enables us to better understand who is visiting our sites and how they use them.

Using cookies also helps you to have a better experience on our website and with our content. For example, we use those cookies to avoid showing you the same thing twice. We don’t serve ads to our site visitors using any third-party tools. When we run ads on Facebook, we may use audience data to serve you and people like you ads based on your visits to our sites. Facebook’s Data Policy provides much more information on how your Facebook data is used on their platform

What is GDPR?

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation, a privacy law that regulates the processing of personal data relating to individuals in the European Union. GDPR strengthens the rights that individuals have regarding their personal data and seeks to unify data protection laws across Europe. 

What does GDPR mean for you?

We’re treating everyone as if they lived in the EU. This means that if you’re reading this, you can:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we’ve collected about you. If you have filled out a form requesting further contact from Vraj & Co., we can provide you with your data at your request. Please email info@vraj.co.nz to request this. If you have not filled out a form in the past, then we do not have any of your personal data on file.
• Request that we stop sending you direct marketing communication. This is as easy as it has ever been. Unsubscribe or unfollow us, and we’ll stop. Our goal is simply to keep our promise.

We use MailChimp to carry our email messages and we’ll work with them in removing your name from our mailing lists. There is an unsubscribe button in every email we send that initiates this process. We will update this page from time to time with any changes.
